i should probably study more but how do you study for English anyways?

Plus this boy of I’ve been crushing on hardcore left for Afghanistan last Friday and lately I can’t get him out of my head. I told him I liked him and he said he felt the same way but idk I just feel so skeptical. We were only able to text and now we are only able to write letters so how do I know what he says to me isn’t the same thing he’s saying to another girl? And what right do I have to even feel this way. I mean the reality is our relationship isn’t anything more than an extremely complicated friendship and cannot be anything more for a while. He has his career and military things and I have grad school and student teaching to worry about. I guess I just didn’t realize how big this crush was until he left but I can’t stop thinking about it and I constantly have to remind myself I can’t text him. I know it’ll get easier but I just feel like there’s so many unknowns. Just had to get it all off my chest before I sleep and then study some more well ish seriously though how does one study for an English final which is not essays?!
